Great sushi. We got the shrimp tempura roll, the teriyaki roll, and the beef bulgogi sushi burrito. Also mochi ice cream for dessert and I like that she let us choose our flavors. The wallpaper was super cute, service was good, the bathroom also had fun wallpaper. Cute date place.

This place was amazing and the sushi is so delicious, the pictures do not do it justice! The staff is beyond friendly, and the atmosphere is very personal and cozy. I would definitely recommend it, and I can't wait to go back for more!!

We picked this place at random for a quick lunch and it was spectacular! The food was great and the waitress was very nice. We each got a bento box and the portions were larger than we expected. I would definitely come back next time I am in the area.

Incredible nigiri, it melts in your mouth. Definitely the best I've found in Soutwest Michigan. The sweet green tea is also very good, especially for tea up in the Northern USA.

Jaku has the best Sushi in GR IMO, and if you like soup the tempura udon noodle soup is phenomenal, the seaweed salad is incredible, and the sushi well its fresh with a great display, great service reasonably priced. Cozy comfortable restaurant and great place to spend with friends ,family coworkers, over a drink and devour some healthy food..

Upon walking into Jaku, the atmosphere was quite nice. We went at dinner time so it was notably busy, thus we were lucky to get a table upon walking in. The decor of the venue was quite modern and elevating in combination with the ambient lighting. Even though the restaurant seating was full, it didn't feel too cramped to sit within the restaurant and it didn't feel too loud even though everyone was having their own conversations and there was also background music. The menu was quite extensive and I felt that there was good value for all the option they offered. We ordered shumai, gyoza, three rolls of sushi, and mochi. For the shumai, it is not similar to the ones that you'll find at a traditional dim sum place (it felt more like a round shrimp dumpling that had been steamed). The gyoza was pretty standard, pan fried. The sushi rolls that we had were the highlight, the fish was fresh, it was clear that they were hand prepared and arranged (very nicely). The mochi order had 3 pieces in it and we had the option to choose between red bean, green tea, mango, and strawberry. We had the latter three options. The strawberry tasted like traditional strawberry ice cream. The green tea was succulent and a balanced end to the meal. My friend commended the mango (she also really likes mango in general). In general, would 100% visit again! Great place to bring a date to or a smaller group to. When exiting the restaurant and leaving in your vehicle, turning left is NOT an option, you will turn into a median.

We celebrated our son’s birthday here and Trevor was our server! We celebrated his 40th birthday and today his 42nd birthday! The seating was phenomenal and the atmosphere was upbeat and comfortable! We laughed and talked and had the best gathering with a server that was super attentive and kind! The food was so delicious and flavorful and beautifully plated and presented! Definitely a great meal! We even had someone with food allergies and his meal was incredible!
